BellieBellies was founded in 2024 by Bella, one-half of the sister music duo PB&Jtoo.

Growing up, Bella learned to cook and bake using only gluten-free, dairy-free ingredients—always free from artificial colors and flavors. One day, she made her first batch of apple fritters, and Psalm added a custom glaze. The family devoured them within the hour.

Each year, Bella participates in a special meeting with her mom, Tove—a sacred time to reflect on how each daughter is walking in rhythm and where they feel called to rise next. In 2024, Bella shared that she wanted to discover her voice and unique identity within the family. Her mom gently reminded her: “You already have one, and it’s in your beautifully curated fritters.” That moment changed everything.

Shortly after, Bella tested her apple fritters at the 32nd Street Farmers Market in Baltimore, Maryland. After repeatedly selling out, her dessert brand began to grow into what the world now knows as a new dessert HugCakes™️ — a blend of the classic fritter, funnel cake and cupcake. There is a “hug in every bite.”

Her mission is short, sweet, and simple: “To make bellies happy everywhere”™
